Welcome Banner

The Wagner Middle School library is an educational hub that supports all learners by providing equal access to information, literacy instruction, and opportunities for students to problem-solve and think creatively about the world around them. The library strives to be a place that supports classroom curriculum, encourages inquiry and helps students develop a love and appreciation for literature.

Hi Wolves!

My name is Mrs. Atkinson, but you can call me Mrs. A! I am excited to serve as the librarian at Wagner Middle School.

I have been in education for 5 years. Previously, I taught high school English II and ESL in San Antonio, Texas.

I hold a bachelor's of arts in English Education from Our Lady of the Lake University at San Antonio and a master's in Information Science specializing in School Libraries from the University of North Texas at Denton.

What most excites me about working at Wagner Middle School is the chance to create a safe space for students to find their voice

Outside of the library, I enjoy baking and cooking for my family. I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas (SpaceX town) and moved to San Antonio for college and was there for about 7 years before my husband, my son, and I relocated to the area. I look forward to exploring the world around Georgetown and becoming a member of the community I serve.

If you have a question about anything, don't hesitate to email me or call me. I am here for you!
