Mrs. Loucks is thrilled to be part of the Wagner Wolfpack and is ready to tackle all the new challenges this year will bring. She is passionate about building relationships and helping students achieve their potential.
Kim believes that educators have the ability to develop student potential through collaboration and compassion. She understands education is a way of preparing students to face and overcome challenges with the skills and knowledge that enable them to innovate, create and evolve in a rapidly changing global society. Education is different for every child and must include a holistic, developmental approach to learning. As a counselor, having a versatile role within the school, she believes uncovering and realizing a students potential is her highest accountability.
In her spare time, Mrs. Loucks enjoys walking, reading, journaling, swimming and painting! She loves Autumn and all the baking and warm scents that go with it. Mrs. Loucks and her family enjoy road trips and seeing new places, as well as, trying new restaurants anywhere they go.
Kim and her husband were born and raised in Upstate NY and have also lived in Oklahoma, California (twice), North Carolina, Georgia and most recently Texas. They have a son who is almost 6 and a very sassy 3 year old little girl. They are very grateful to be a part of Georgetown ISD and the Wagner Family.
