Alda Haas
Ms. Alda Haas joined the Wolfpack in 2023 to serve Wagner students as a Project Lead the Way - Year 2 teacher. She brings with her 34 years of educational experience, having taught middle school science, English, history, and Post Secondary Farm & Ranch. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education, and Masters of Education with emphasis in curriculum development, and six teaching certifications.
When asked about why she is excited to come to Wagner, she stated, "There is so much to be excited about teaching at Wagner Middle School. I can't wait to work with the students to instill and empower them to take ownership of their learning and to become independent learners. I am looking forward to working and building relationships with the young 'Wolves.' Watching them learn and feel success brings joy to my heart."
Outside of school, Ms. Haa mostly enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, being with her friends, and babysitting her grandpuppies. She and her husband have raised two sons. Both of them graduated from UT-Austin. Tyler, who is married to Mary, lives in Round Rock. Justin, who also received an MBA from Texas State, lives in New York City. She also loves to travel, especially visiting national parks. Places she has enjoyed visiting include Boston, Nashville, and New York City.
