Alan Jones

 

 

Mr. Alan Jones joined the Wagner team in 2022, where he teaches 6th grade PLP, as well as Athletics. He brings 17 years of educational experience to Wagner, having served as a Kindergarten and 2nd Grade teacher, and a PE Instructional Aide.

Alan Jones earned his EC-4 Bachelor's of Science from Texas State University, as well as a  Master's of Education in Advanced Literacy from Concordia University. He is most excited about working with an older student population that will present new challenges and opportunities for growth for himself.

Outside of teaching, Mr. Jones enjoys anything outdoors and staying active. His main hobby is obstacle course racing (Spartan Race). He loves challenging himself and also likes playing in the mud. He and his wife have been together for 25 years. They have two children; their son Dominic is going into his second year at Baylor and their daughter is going into 8th Grade. They have two dogs, Hoshi and Kujo. Mr. Jones knows that education is a gift, and he looks forward to taking this learning journey with all of his students and their families.
