Idalia Espino

Idalia Espino serves our Wagner team as our Orchestra Director. She began playing violin eleven years ago and has a variety of orchestra experience through Texas State University. These experiences include being a member of the Texas State Symphony Orchestra and the Texas State Opera Orchestra, participating in the 2015 Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza Competition with the Texas State Mariachi, assisting in forming the Texas State String Project, and pariticpating heavily in the Texas State String Camp.

Ms. Espino has a Bachelors of Music in Music Studies. She would like parents, students and teachers to know that she will do anything she can to provide students with equal, fair and high quality opportunities and instruction.

Outside of the classroom, Idalia enjoys contributing her time outside of work participating in various community orchestras such as the newly formed Texas State University Orchestra in San Marcos, and the Viva Symphony orchestra in San Antonio as well as teaching private lessons.
