Garrett Wallace
Garrett Wallace has been in education for 4 years and has served as an Assistant Band Director. Mr. Wallace has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Mr. Wallace says that he is excited to work at Wagner because our campus is fueled by relationships and collaboration to drive our learning. "In an activity like band, where we are a large group of people all striving towards the common goal of music making, it is exciting that their learning processes in the core classes can carry over into the electives!" Mr. Wallace believes that the staff and students at Wagner are second to none and the culture here is amazing!
In his free time, Mr. Wallace loves to take his dogs hiking, eat at great local restaurants, and travel over the summers and breaks! He is married to his wife, Mariah, and they are proud parents of two crazy Vizslas (dogs). Additionally, Mr. Wallace loves teaching music, but also enjoys teaching students about long-lasting and necessary life skills. "Being in band is an activity that is far-reaching and I’m very passionate about instilling a life-long love of music that will carry our students far in life!"
