David Ertter
David Ertter has been in education for 9 years. Mr. Ertter has served in the following positions: SPED, 7th grade Tx History, and Coached Football, Basketball, Track, and Golf. He received his Bachelor's of Science in Universal Studies from Lamar University.
Mr. Ertter is excited about the various types of learning spaces set up at Wagner that make for engaging experiences. He believes it will allow for outside of the box thinking and learning because the campus is naturally inviting and uplifting. Mr. Ertter is excited to take his teaching to the next level and take full advantage of everything Wagner has to offer to ensure the success of our students, plus "there's something tough about being a part of the Wolfpack!"
In his free time, Mr. Ertter enjoys spending time with family, taking cross-country road trips, fishing, and golf. His wife is the new Instructional Coach at Hutto High School and currently in her first year of the Doctorate of Education Program at UMHB. He and his family are very proud of her! They have been together for 15 years, married for 5. Together they have their daughter Brynlee, who is 2 years old going on 13 and keeps them on their toes 24/7! They also have an 11-year-old pug named Bruiser.
Mr. Ertter adds that his father was a police officer for 30 years and his grandfather was a US Navy Master Chief and retired after 30 years. Mr. Ertter played football at ACU.
