Barbara Prisco

Barbara Prisco has been a professional educator for 5 years. Ms. Prisco has served as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and a hospital medical staff educator. She has Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Southwest Texas State, a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership from the Medical College of Georgia and a Master of Science in Biotechnology Studies from University of Maryland Global College. Ms. Prisco is very excited about inspiring students to discover their own personal interests in the sciences. 

Ms. Prisco enjoys spending time with her family of 5, 6 if you include their fur baby, Bentley. She enjoys working in her garden or practicing calligraphy. She also loves to organize things and tinker on broken things to make them work again. A year ago, her family moved from Tokyo, Japan. Ms. Prisco's husband has been in the U.S. Army for 22 years and is getting ready to retire very soon! Their children are Nicholas, Elizabeth and Gwendolyn. They are pretty amazing military kids and she is very proud of them!

Ms. Prisco is incredibly thankful to be a part of Wagner Middle School and is looking forward to this coming school year!
