Phylis Gage

Phylis Gage brings eight years of experience to our Wagner team. She has taught both 4th grade (ELAR, social studies, and math) and 5th grade (ELAR and social studies), and 6th grade (ELAR). She has extensive experience serving Gifted and Talented students as a teacher, coordinator, section course leader, and curriculum writer.

Ms. Gage has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Texas State University and is Gifted and Talented trained. She loves utilizing Wagner's collaborative learning spaces, using innovative instructional approaches that will promote student-led learning, and collaborating with a team of educators that share a similar vision. What most excites her is the opportunity to create a unique learning experience for all of her students!

Outside of the classroom, you can find Ms. Gage reading, working in her garden, or spending time with friends and her family.
