Jonathan Cruz joined the Wagner team in the fall of 2022, and teaches 6th grade STEM (math and science). He comes to Wagner having served at various campuses in GISD.

Mr. Cruz has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education from Texas State University. In joining our team, he is excited about the emphasis Wagner places on building relationships with students.

Outside of teaching, Mr. Cruz enjoys spending his time listening to music and watching anime. Mr. Cruz has two sisters and one brother, he is the youngest of his siblings. His family also includes his dog, Nezuko. He enjoys eating sushi and taking Nezuko on walks.
